Paintball is a really fun sport that I just recently started to play. The game isn’t very complicated but it does have its nuances and I thought I would start this blog and pass on my newfound education and knowledge to the next paintball enthusiast.

First things first, paintball is a sport where you compete with another team you eliminate each other by shooting each other with paintball guns that are powered by air. The paintball guns fire these round gelatin balls that are filled with paint and are designed to break on impact.

Most paintballers refer to their paintball guns as paintball markers but within this article and on this blog we will refer to them as paintball guns. Paintball guns or why a lot of people get into paintballing. Most paintball guns are fine pieces of equipment comprised of multiple parts. If you are thinking about buying a paintball gun to get into the sport I highly recommend you play a few times and rent your equipment before you do that. It’s a very good idea to know how paintball guns work before you go out and buy one.

Most people that never try paintball usually don’t because they are afraid of getting hurt and that’s pretty typical. The good news is that you don’t have to worry about getting her if you take the time and ensure that you are dressed appropriately for when you go out and play paintball.

You definitely have to wear something you cover your eyes, face and ears . I would strongly recommend you wear a paintball mask when and if you do play. Some places will only rent out goggles so you need to be aware of that.

One of the things that makes paintball so fun are the actual paintball field you play on. If you can do would be a good idea to check out to see if your local paint ball facility has a website so you can check out what they’re facilities look like.

There are also several different games within a game of paintball. The most notable that come to mind are games like “capture the flag”, speedball and woodsball. I’ll get into all that a little more in-depth in later articles on this blog… Stay posted.
