If you intend to have a good time playing paintball it really is really important that you wear the appropriate clothes.Going out to play paintball with the appropriate clothes will ensure a good time as well as minimize your odds of getting hurt. A lot of folks think that you have to wear gear and clothing specifically for paintball and that’s just not true.

Every now and then I’ll see someone out there playing in shorts and a t-shirt and that’s just not enough protection to be frank. You can spend a small fortune on paintball clothes like pants and a jersey but at the end of the day it won’t improve the way you play. When deciding what to wear it is important to wear something you’ll be comfortable in, wear something that’s flexible and cover as much skin as possible.

The most important thing when considering what to wear when playing paintball is to cover yourself from head to toe. If you are wearing casual clothes try not to wear anything too light because the paint could stain it permanently. If wearing your own gear, wear clothes that are preferably thick, wear clothes that cover your arms and legs and finally wear something that is loose enough to allow you to be flexible.

What you have to realize about paintball is that you get dirty from playing because you’ll often end up  on the ground, on your knees and crawling on your elbows so wear appropriate clothing. When it comes to your clothes just keep it simple… choose clothes that are comfortable and that cover as much of you as possible.

I get a lot of questions about camouflage and all I have to say is that paintball isn’t real combat so camo may be overkill. A lot of folks worry about whether or not playing paintball will hurt and paintballs can and will bruise and welt your skin so again… wear clothes that are a little thicker (like a sweatshirt) that cover your arms and legs. A really savvy paintballer will wear something to cover his neck or just apply sunscreen to protect the back of his neck from sun burn.

Probably the most important piece of gear you will wear out to the paintball field is a paintball mask. A paintball mask will protect your face, your ears and your eyes. Under no circumstances should you play paintball without a minimum of goggles but I strongly recommend you wear a paintball mask. The biggest chance you have for getting seriously injured on the paintball field is by not protecting your eyes.

At the end of the day you want to be comfortable in your clothing and you want to cover your arms and legs if at all possible. Something I haven’t covered yet is wearing gloves to protect your hands as they can also be susceptible. Most paintball guns fire paintballs at a velocity of 250-300 feet per second so it really is important to wear clothing that is thick enough to absorb that. If you plan on playing paintball, wear clothes that are functional and follow the advice in this article and you should be ok.

In Paintball the paintball gun seems to get all of the glory and deservedly so because paintball guns are frankly pretty awesome. This is fine and all but when you’re just starting out with paintball you’d be surprised what “other” piece of equipment could really help make you a better paintball player…

In my opinion the paintball mask is by far the second most important piece of equipment in paintball. My girlfriend turned into a much better paintball player when I got her a really good paintball mask (it’s pink… I had to do it) with thermal lenses.

She said it made her a much more confident player out on the paintball field because before she was always worried about getting hit in the face with paintballs. Personally I couldn’t relate with her because I’ve always played with a paintball mask but the other day I decided to put my new found theory to a test.

The test was I would go out and play with goggles on and nothing else to cover my face or ears. Frankly I’m a bit worried about the ears and I can see already how not playing with a paintball mask would change the way you play.

Paintball is an electric and fun pastime. Paintball has an undeserved rep for being dangerous by many. Most paintball areas are designed so the whole family unit can have a good time. Like any hobby, paintball has various levels and types of games to play. My favorite is “capture the flag”. As a boy, I used to go hunting with my father. Hunting isn’t politically correct anymore and it’s not something that I consider fun anymore. Paintball gives me the same feeling of excitement and accomplishes what I am looking for in a weekend recreational activity.

Paintball can be fun for the whole household. Those that have been willing to try paintball have found how much fun it really can be for the whole family. Most siblings will jump at the opportunity to strike their brother or sister with a round of paintballs. But, you brothers out there should beware, the women I see playing paintball are fast, sharp shooters and may just send 15 balls per second your way!

You’d be amazed how much fun you can have with your kids at the paintball park. You shouldn’t be afraid of the paintball game. Most individuals fear paintball because they think it is going to hurt. totally covering your skin will prevent welts and goggles or a mask should also be worn.Paintball is no different then any other sport; You need to Wear the appropriate equpment and gear to play the game safely. If you’re taking your kids out with you make sure they take the following gear for unsurpassed protection: a chest and back protector, a full coverage paintball goggle, paintball gloves, paintball jersey and paintball pants. All of these are planned to give you comfort and protection when playing.

Paintball comes with a wide sort of games that you can play to enjoy it. Speedball is a game that is mostly played in tournaments and it’s a lso a game that kids love. If you prefer to play like a sniper then woodsball may be the game for you. There’s a game for everybody on the paintball field if you’re willing to experiment a bit. Buy quality gear. In every sport I know of, the biggest reason people often get frustrated or give up is that they do not have the appropriate gear. It is best to buy your gear after you have rented some equipment or purchaseds ome usedpaintball gear. After you’ve played for a bit you’ll have a much better idea of what you’ll want in a paintball marker and you’ll be in a better position to make a good decision.

There is a lot of upside, fun and enjoyment and very little danger, if any, in paintball! Like most other sports and activities it’s great at alleviating stress and spending some time with the family unit. If you want to know a little more then it’s probably best to talk to some friends and see what they have to say about the hobby. The best way for a beginner to get started is to rent some equipemnt out at the field and if possible try a few different paintball markers.sport the right geasr to reduce your amount of fear for the game and you’ll be good to go.
